Operations in self-diagnostic mode
1. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position.
2. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position, switching the odometer/trip counter display to display "mileage A" or "mileage B" using button (1) (see fig.).
3. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while pressing the odometer/tripmeter button.

4. Release the odometer/tripmeter button 1 second or more after turning the ignition key to the "ON" position. Check sequence "A" starts.
5. After all segments are displayed, press the odometer/tripmeter or clock button for 20 seconds. The test sequence (B to J) starts.
Note: If you do not press any reset button within 20 seconds, the self-diagnosis mode is cancelled.
