GA engines
1. Relieve fuel pressure in the fuel system.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the pressure regulator and the fuel hoses from the fuel rail.
3. Disconnect the electrical wires from the injectors.
4. Turn away bolts of fastening of a fuel stage in the specified sequence and remove those stage together with atomizers.
5. Push the nozzle out of the fuel rail. Do not pull on the connector.
6. When installing the nozzle, clean its outer part protruding from the ramp. Use new o-rings. The metal plate of the top gasket must face the injector.
7. Install the fuel rail to the intake manifold. Tighten the bolts in the reverse order to loosening, first with a torque of 7.9-10.8 Nm, then tighten them with a torque of 15.7-20.6 Nm.
WARNING: After installing the injectors and connecting the fuel hoses, check for fuel leaks.
SR engine from 04.96
1. Relieve the pressure or the plate in the power system.
2. Disconnect all connectors and hoses around the intake manifold and throttle body.
3. Turn away bolts of fastening of an inlet collector and remove a collector together with a throttle branch pipe (see chapter «Engine»).
4. Disconnect the connectors from the injectors and the fuel hose and from the fuel rail.
5. Remove the fuel rail along with the injectors.
6. Push the nozzle out of the rail. Do not pull on the connector.
7. Replace or clean the nozzle.
8. Install the injector with new o-rings and gaskets, lubricating the o-rings with silicone oil. The metal plate of the top gasket must face the injector.
9. Install the fuel rail with injectors and on the intake manifold. Tighten the bolts in the specified sequence, first to a torque of 9.3-10.8 Nm, then tighten them to a torque of 21-26 Nm.
10. Attach the fuel hoses, lubricating them with silicone oil. The hoses must be overlapped not less than 28 mm from the end of the tube.
11. Install intake manifold and throttle body. Bolt tightening torques and sequences are given in chapter «Engine».
12. Install the rest of the removed parts.
WARNING: After installing the injectors and connecting the fuel hoses, check for fuel leaks.
