GA Engines
1. Relieve the fuel pressure in the fuel system.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the pressure regulator and the fuel hoses from the fuel rail.
3. Disconnect the electrical wires from the injectors.
4. Loosen the fuel rail mounting bolts in the indicated sequence and remove the rail together with the injectors.

5. Push the injector out of the fuel rail. Do not pull on the connector.
6. When installing the injector, clean its outer part protruding from the ramp. Use new sealing rings. The metal plate of the upper gasket should face the injector.
7. Install the fuel rail onto the intake manifold. Tighten the bolts in the reverse order of removal, first to 7.9-10.8 Nm, then tighten them to 15.7-20.6 Nm.
WARNING: After installing the injectors and connecting the fuel hoses, check for fuel leaks.
SR engine since 04.96
1. Release the pressure or leak in the fuel system.
2. Disconnect all connectors and hoses around the intake manifold and throttle body.
3. Loosen the intake manifold mounting bolts and remove the manifold together with the throttle pipe (see chapter "Engine").
4. Disconnect the connectors from the injectors and the fuel hose from the fuel rail.
5. Remove the fuel rail together with the injectors.
6. Push the injector out of the rail. Do not pull on the connector.
7. Replace or clean the nozzle.
8. Install the injector with new sealing rings and gaskets, lubricating the rings with silicone oil. The metal plate of the upper gasket should face the injector.
9. Install the fuel rail with injectors and on the intake manifold. Tighten the bolts in the specified sequence first with a torque of 9.3-10.8 Nm, then tighten them with a torque of 21-26 Nm.
10. Connect the fuel hoses, lubricating them with silicone oil. The hoses should be at least 28 mm from the end of the tube.
11. Install the intake manifold and throttle body. The torques and tightening sequences for the bolts are given in Chapter "Engine".
12. Install the remaining removed parts.
WARNING: After installing the injectors and connecting the fuel hoses, check for fuel leaks.
