Adjusting the primary shaft braking mechanism
1. Install the gear selector lever and rod, locking bracket and control bracket into the clutch housing. The projection of the control bracket must enter the corresponding hole in the housing.

2. Measure the maximum height H when shifting from neutral to reverse gear.
- Size H - 67.16-67.64 mm

3. Measure the clearance C between the brake cam and the gear selector lever when engaging reverse gear.
- Size C - 0.05-0.125 mm

If dimensions H or C are not within the specified limits, replace the following assemblies:
- gear selector lever;
- locking bracket (together with the brake cam);
- control bracket.
