Removal
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the air intake.
3. Remove the inlet manifold assembly and inlet hose, as well as the inlet manifold bracket.
4. Remove the rear engine lifting eye.
5. Unhook the upper timing belt cover.
6. Loosen the mounting bolts in the reverse order to that shown in the figure and remove the rocker arm cover.
Installation
1. Install a new gasket on the rocker cover.
2. Apply sealant to the places indicated in the figure.
Note: Use genuine NISSAN sealant or equivalent.
3. Tighten the mounting bolts in the sequence shown in the figure to a torque of 12.0 Nm.
4. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
