Note. When carrying out this check, it is also necessary to check the deformation of the surface of the cylinder block.
Remove oil and water film from the surface with a scraper (like inclusions), gasket, sealant, soot, etc.
Note. Be careful not to allow water or gasket particles to enter the oil passages.
Using a straightedge and a set of flat feeler gauges, measure the flatness of the cylinder head surface in six directions. If the results obtained exceed the limit, it is necessary to replace the cylinder head with a new one.
Note. Permissible flatness of the contact surface: 0.05 mm.
2. Height of cylinder head (H):
Measure the height of the head of the cylinder block.
3. With the help of tools KU113V0040 (Mot. 251-01) and KV113B0050 (Mot. 252-01) or equivalent, measure the seating depth of the valves as shown.
Note. Valve seating depth: -0.07-0.07 mm.
