Checking the transmission oil level
1. Check for any signs of transmission oil leaks on or around the transmission housing.
2. Remove the filler plug (1) with the gasket from the gearbox housing.

3. Check the transmission oil level as shown in the figure.
Caution: Do not start the engine while checking the oil level.
4. Install the Nairobi filler hole, then insert the plug into the gearbox housing.
Caution: Do not reuse the gasket.
5. Tighten the filler plug to 2 Nm.
Draining transmission oil
1. Start the engine and let it run to warm up the gearbox.
2. Stop the engine. Using a special attachment, remove the drain plug (1) with the gasket and drain the transmission oil.

3. Install the gasket on the drain plug and use the attachment to install it into the clutch housing.
Caution: Do not reuse the pad.
4. Tighten the drain plug to 22 Nm.
Refueling
1. Remove the filler plug (1) with the gasket from the gearbox housing.

2. Fill the box with fresh transmission oil so that the oil starts to flow out through the filler hole (the oil level should be at the bottom edge of the hole).
3. Install the gasket on the plug, then screw the plug into the gearbox housing.
Caution: Do not reuse the pad.
4. Tighten the filler plug to 2 Nm.
