Attention.
- Before carrying out any checks or repairs, make sure that the ignition is switched off (key in position "OFF") and the negative terminal is disconnected from the battery. Breaks/short circuits of the electrical circuits of the corresponding switches, sensors, solenoid valves and other similar devices will be accompanied by the inclusion of a malfunction indicator (MIL).
- After carrying out the work, make sure that the connection and fixing of the connectors are secure. Bad (unfixed) contact in the connectors can open circuits and illuminate the MIL. (Make sure that the contacts on the connectors do not get water, grease, dirt, that the terminals are not bent, etc.)
- After carrying out the work, lay and secure the wiring harnesses in an appropriate way. Damage to the wires at the points of contact with the mounting brackets can short out the electrical circuits and ignite the MIL.
- After carrying out the work, make sure that the rubber tubes are connected properly. Incorrect or poor tubing connections can cause the MIL to come on due to malfunctioning of the EVAP system, fuel injection system, and other systems.
- Upon completion of work on the vehicle. it is necessary to delete from the memory of the electronic units TCM and ECM unnecessary information about the eliminated malfunctions.
