Attention.
- Before performing any checks or repairs, make sure that the ignition is switched off (key in the "OFF" position) and the negative terminal is disconnected from the battery. Open/short circuits in the electrical circuits of the relevant switches, sensors, solenoids, and other similar devices will be accompanied by the illumination of the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL).
- After completing the work, make sure that the connections are secure and that the connectors are fixed. Bad (unfixed) contact in the connectors may cause electrical circuits to open and the MIL to light. (Make sure that no water, grease, or dirt gets into the contacts on the connectors, that the terminals are not bent, etc.)
- After the work is completed, route and secure the wiring harnesses accordingly. Damage to the wires where they contact the mounting brackets may cause a short circuit in the electrical circuits and the MIL to light up.
- After completing the work, make sure that the rubber hoses are connected properly. Incorrect connection or poor connection of the tubes may cause the MIL to come on due to malfunction of the EVAP system, fuel injection system and other systems.
- Upon completion of work on the vehicle, it is necessary to delete unnecessary information about the faults that have been eliminated from the memory of the electronic units TCM and ECM.
