2. Travel by car for ten minutes in order to warm up the working fluid of the ayahomahic gearbox to a temperature of 50-80°C. Check the automatic transmission fluid level and top up if necessary.
Note. The working fluid of an automatic transmission heats up to a temperature of 50-80°C within ten minutes of driving.
3. After warming up, connect the oil pump to the automatic transmission:
Remove the battery.
Remove the electronic engine control unit with bracket assembly.
Remove Stub (A) pressure test holes.
Install oil gauge (ST2505S001).
A: connecting pipe adapter (KV31103600).
B: adapter (ST25055000).
C: connecting pipe (ST2505300).
Note. When using a port adapter, the O-ring from the pressure test hole plug must be used.
Install all removed parts.
4. Apply the parking brake firmly to prevent the vehicle's wheels from spinning.
5. Start the engine and measure the pressure in the lines at idle and at the parking speed of the gearbox.
Attention. It is necessary to keep the foot brake pedal depressed during the entire measurement.
Note. Standard pressure in the automatic transmission lines in the mode «D» or «M»:
- Idling: 410-524 kPa (4.1-5.2 bar, 4.1-5.3 kg/cm2).
- Standing speed: 1477-1623 kPa (14.8-16.2 bar, 15.1-16.6 kg/cm2).
6. After taking measurements, install the plug of the pressure test port.
Attention.
- Do not reuse o-ring.
- Apply automatic transmission fluid to the O-ring.
7. Tighten the pressure test plug to 7.4 Nm.
