1. Check the engine oil level in the engine and top up if necessary.
2. Make a trip by car for ten minutes in order to warm up the working fluid of the variator to a temperature of 50-80°C. Check the level of the working fluid of the variator, top up if necessary.
Note. The working fluid of the variator is heated to a temperature of 50-80°C within ten minutes of driving.
3. After warming up the variator, remove the plug of the test hole and install the adapter of the connecting pipe (KV31103600) (A), adapter (25054000) (IN) and oil gauge kit (WITH).
Note. When using a connection tube adapter, the O-ring from the pressure test hole plug must be used.
4. Apply the parking brake firmly to prevent the vehicle's wheels from spinning.
5. Start the engine and measure the pressure in the lines at idle and at the parking speed of the gearbox.
Attention. It is necessary to keep the foot brake pedal depressed during the entire measurement.
Note.
- Standard pressure in the variator lines in the mode «R», «D» And «L» (sports mode):
- Idling: 750 kPa (7.50 bar, 7.65 kg/cm2).
- At parking speed (reference value): 5 700 kPa (57.00 bar, 58.14 kg/cm2).
6. After measurements, install the test hole plug and tighten to 7.5 Nm.
Attention.
- Do not reuse the O-ring.
- Apply automatic transmission fluid to the O-ring.
