Checking the tightness of the drain tube
Check before installing the valve cover.
Connect the vacuum pump to the drain tube.
Create a vacuum and make sure it is kept level.
- Standard test vacuum: -53.3 - (-66,7) kRa (-400 - (-500) mmHg Art.)
Bleeding fuel pipes and hoses
After installing the system, bleed air from the fuel pipes and hoses using the lever and the priming pump.
Checking the fuel injector assembly
Install the injector on the injector tester.
Swing the tester handle at a frequency of 1 time / sec and read the pressure at the time of injection.
Standard pressure:
- 18.6-20.6 MPa (190-210 kg/cm2)
- Ultimate pressure: 16.2 MPa (165 kg/cm2)
Note: Fuel injection occurs in two stages. However, injection pressure estimation is done in the first step.
Abnormal Injection Criteria:
- Not straight injection jet lines (IN)
- Fuel dripping from nozzle (WITH)
- Uneven injection (D)
If the pressure is out of specification, or if there is an abnormal fuel injection pattern, replace the injector assembly.
Caution: Do not disassemble the nozzle.
