Installing the accelerator pedal
Attention:
Do not bend or scratch the center portion of the accelerator cable.
During assembly, apply grease to all parts except the accelerator cable.
Make sure that when you press the accelerator pedal, it does not come into contact with adjacent parts.
Examination
Checking the pedal operation
Press the accelerator pedal all the way down, the throttle drum should open completely. The pedal should move freely.
Make sure the accelerator pedal returns to its original position after it is released.
Adjustment
Adjusting the accelerator cable
Attention:
The adjustment is carried out on a warm engine, while it is running at idle speed.
Loosen the lock nut located where the cable attaches. Tighten the adjusting nut until the throttle drum begins to move. From this position, back off the adjusting nut 1.5-2 turns and secure this position with the lock nut.

Caution: When tightening the lock nut, use a wrench to secure the adjusting nut so that it does not turn. Tighten the lock nut so that the insulator does not turn.
