Removal
Cut off the required pipe sections.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.
If the insulator is badly damaged, repair or replace it. If deposits, such as dirt, have accumulated on the insulator, remove them.
When installing the insulator, do not leave large gaps between the insulator and the exhaust pipe sections, but do not allow them to touch each other.
Remove deposits and gasket residues from the sealing surfaces of the joints. Connect them tightly to prevent exhaust leakage.
Hand tighten the exhaust manifold side mounting nuts and vehicle side mounting bolts. Check that there is no interference between components, then tighten to the specified torque.
