Checking the oil level
1. The oil level should be checked at the operating temperature of the automatic transmission (at an oil temperature of 50-80°C). Warming up is achieved after a 10-minute drive in the urban driving cycle.
2. Place the vehicle on a flat, horizontal surface.
3. Apply the parking brake.
4. With the engine running at idle speed, press the brake pedal and move the selector lever sequentially through all ranges from position P to position 1 (or from position P to position L).
5. With the selector lever in position P or N, check the oil level using the dipstick on the HOT scale.
Attention:
Before removing the dipstick, release the lock.
Insert the feeler gauge and secure the stopper to the ring.
When changing the oil in the automatic transmission, check the level on the COLD scale (at an oil temperature of 30-50°C). After the replacement, recheck the oil level on the warmed-up gearbox on the HOT scale.
Use a paper towel to wipe the dipstick.

Oil change
Replacement frequency:
RE4F04A(V):
For individual and commercial use of the vehicle: after major repairs.
When operating in severe conditions: after every 60,000 km.
Note:
The need for oil change is determined using a special tester for automatic transmission oil (LS54900000).
Green zone of the tester: the oil is in normal condition.
Yellow zone: replacement required.
Red zone: replacement required.
RE0F06A (V):
For individual and commercial use of the vehicle: after every 60,000 km.
Note: Oil condition cannot be determined using the LS54900000 tester.
Actions when changing oil
Change the oil with the engine idling. Pour in fresh oil through the filler tube while draining the old oil from the oil cooler return hose.
[Data posted on the website: www.NISSANBOOK.ru]
When the color of the drained oil becomes the same as that of fresh oil, the replacement procedure can be considered complete. The normal volume for replacing old oil with fresh oil is 3-5 nominal volumes.
Oil used:
- RE4F04A (V): Nissan Matic Fluid D
- RE0F06A (V): Nissan CVT Fluid NS-1
Nominal volume:
- RE4F04A(V): approx. 9.4 l
- RE0F06A (V): approx. 8.1 l
Attention:
RE4F04A (V): Use only Nissan Matic Fluid D oil. Mixing branded oil with oils from other manufacturers, as well as mixing Matic Fluid D and Matic Fluid C oils, may not only reduce the efficiency of the transmission, but also cause serious damage to the automatic transmission.
RE0F06A (V): Use only Nissan CVT Fluid NS-1 oil. Mixing branded oil with oils from other manufacturers, as well as using Matic Fluid D and Matic Fluid C oils, may not only reduce the efficiency of operation, but also cause serious damage to the CVT.
Use paper towels, do not use lint-free cloth.
After replacement, check the oil level.
