1. Remove the air intake sleeve (see Chapter Fuel and exhaust systems), unhook the fasteners (2) of the air cleaner housing (1).
2. Slide the air cleaner housing downwards and then remove it by pulling it forward and pressing the upper radiator hose downwards.
3. Remove the filter element from the air cleaner housing and wipe the housing.
4. Install the new filter element into the upper part of the air cleaner (1), insert the 2 protrusions (3) on the air cleaner housing (2) into the holes (4) and secure the air cleaner housing with the clamps.
