Vertical/lateral clearance adjustment
1. Remove the rear luggage compartment trim. See section "Interior trim".
2. Loosen the rear door latch hinge screws.
3. Adjust by tapping the rear door latch hinge with a rubber mallet until the gap between the right and left and with the rear bumper becomes the same, then tighten the rear door latch hinge screws to the specified torque.
Caution: Adjust the gap between the rear door and other components so that the right/left size difference becomes as follows: Rear door outer panel (B) - body side panel (B): 2.0 mm or less.
