Spare key for sensor system "Intelligent Key"

The key fits the following locks:
- To the ignition switch or ignition switch (if the remote control battery is dead);
- Left door lock (if the battery is discharged);
- Front passenger airbag deactivation lock.
Note: To use the spare key Ⓑ system "Intelligent Key" (if any) remove the remote control cover according to steps ①, ② and ③ of the procedure in section "Starting the engine and driving the car".
The key only fits fully into the ignition lock cylinder or ignition switch cylinder. The key does not fit fully into the driver's side door lock or the front passenger airbag deactivation lock.
Copy the key number from the tag Ⓐ.
Keep a record of the number in a safe and secure place (not in the car). If you lose your keys or remote control "Intelligent Key" contact a NISSAN service station to make duplicate keys; you will need their number.
Note that the key number will only be needed if you have lost all your keys, as there will be no sample left to make duplicate keys. If you have at least one key left, an authorized NISSAN dealer will be able to make duplicate keys.
Only keys designed for the NATS* anti-theft system can be used in your vehicle. To obtain additional keys, you will need the NATS key number. No more than four NATS keys can be used in one vehicle at a time. The new key must be programmed by the NATS immobilizer control unit installed in the vehicle. To do this, contact an authorized NISSAN dealer and provide him with all other NATS keys for your vehicle.
* Immobilizer
This requirement is due to the fact that the key programming procedure involves a complete clearing of the memory of the NATS anti-theft system units.
