Standard voltage values at the contacts of the ECM
Preparing for measurements
1. ECM (1) located on the left side of the engine compartment next to the battery.
2. Disconnect the connector from the ECM.
When disconnecting the connector from the ECM, loosen (A) it with levers (1), pressing them all the way as shown in the figure to the right.
3. Connect the breakout box (special tool) and Y-cable adapter (special tool) between the ECM and the ECM connector.
Do not touch 2 contacts at the same time.
This data is for comparison only and may not be accurate.
2. ECM block.
B. Fasten.
ECM check table
Data given are standard values and measured between each contact and ground. Pulse signals were measured using the CONSULT-II tester.
Caution: Do not use the ECM's ground terminals when measuring input/output voltage. This may damage the ECM transistor. Use a different ground from the ECM terminals, eg ground.
★: Average voltage for pulse signal (the actual pulse signal can be checked on an oscilloscope).
