WARNINGS:
- Do not remove the engine until the exhaust system has cooled down.
- Before disconnecting the fuel lines, relieve the pressure in the fuel system (see chapter «Engine management system»).
- For motors not equipped with lifting eyes, install the lifting eyes described in the spare parts catalog.
- Do not remove the engine separately from the gearbox.
Removing
1. Drain the liquid from the cooling system.
2. Remove the hood.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Remove a broad tank and an arm.
5. Remove drive belts.
6. Remove the generator, air conditioning compressor and power steering pump from the engine.
It is not necessary to disconnect the pipelines from the hydraulic booster pump
1. Remove the following parts:
- Right and left front wheels.
- Engine splash guards.
- Brake calipers.
- It is not necessary to disconnect the brake hoses from the calipers.
- Disconnect the tie rod ends from the steering knuckles.
- Right and left drive shafts. When removing the drive shafts, be careful not to damage the gearbox seals.
- Disconnect the control rod and jet link from the gearbox (Manual Transmission) " Disconnect the control cable from the gearbox (Automatic transmission).
- Central beam.
- The exhaust pipe of the exhaust system.
- Anti-roll bar.
- Cooling fan.
- Radiator.
- Front cylinder head bracket. Air duct.
- Disconnect wires, hoses, pipes, etc.
8. Raise the engine and disconnect or remove the engine mounts.
When lifting the engine, be careful not to hit nearby parts, especially the brake lines and brake master cylinder.
9. Remove the engine from a transmission as it is shown in drawing.
Installation
When installing a manual transmission engine, adjust the bumper height as shown in the illustration.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
