Do not allow engine oil to get on the elastic elements of the engine mount. Be careful not to damage the resilient engine mounts.
Make sure that the elastic elements are correctly placed, then tighten the fastening bolts and nuts.
Tighten the right engine mount bolts in the sequence shown in the illustration.
Note. The arrow in the figure points to the front of the engine.
Check after installation
Check for leaks
1. Before starting the engine, check fluid levels, including coolant and engine oil. If necessary, add appropriate liquids to the correct level.
2. Use the following procedure to check for fuel leaks:
Turn the ignition switch to position "ON" (without starting the engine). After pressurizing the fuel lines, check for leaks in the connections.
3. Check the operation of the engine for extraneous noise and vibration.
4. Fully warm up the engine to check for fuel, exhaust, or fluid leaks, including engine oil and coolant.
5. Remove air by pumping from pipelines and hoses of hydraulic systems that have been disconnected (e.g. engine cooling systems).
6. After the engine has cooled down, check fluid levels again. If necessary, top up to the correct level.
