Attention: Make sure that the torque of the bearing rotation of the pinion shaft is within the norm.
2. Install the crown gear shaft into the transfer case.
3. Install the adapter housing.
4. Rotate the flange at least 20 revolutions to check the smooth rotation of the bearing.
5. Using a special tool (A) (ST3127S000) measure the total torque of resistance to rotation.

Note.
Total moment of resistance to rotation:
With seals installed:
- Versions with manual and automatic transmissions: P1+0.76~0.96 Nm.
- Versions with continuously variable transmission: P1+0.71~0.91 Nm.
- Without intermediate crankcase oil seal: P1+0.55~0.75 Nm.
Attention.
- To ensure smooth rotation of all moving elements, they must be lubricated with transmission oil.
- If any deviations from the norm are detected, it is necessary to remove the pinion shaft from the transfer case for inspection. Measure the total moment of resistance both with the intermediate case seal removed and with it installed.
