Note: The camshafts on this engine are different from conventional DOHC. The following abbreviations are used in this section.
- Right camshaft: The camshaft located on the intake manifold side (from the back of the car).
- Left camshaft: The camshaft located on the exhaust manifold side (from the front of the car).
The location of the inlet and outlet valves is shown in the figure (each camshaft has cams for the intake and exhaust valves located alternately).
