Install each part in its original place.
2. Install the camshafts.
The difference between the camshafts is determined by the place of the marking and by the presence or absence of a threaded hole on the rear end of the camshaft.
Install the camshafts so that the dowel pins are positioned as shown.
3. Install the camshaft brackets.
During assembly, pay attention to the front marks on the upper sides of the brackets, as well as the numbers of the necks.
4. Tighten the set bolts in the order shown in the figure as follows.
(1) Tighten the bolts to 2.0 Nm (0.2 kg m).
Make sure that the thrust part of the camshaft (rear end) installed in the cylinder head.
(2) Tighten the bolts to 5.9 Nm (0.6 kg m).
(3) Tighten the bolts to 11.8-13.7 Nm (1.2-1.4 kg m).
5. Install the camshaft sprockets.
Left and right sprockets are the same.
Align the camshaft pins with the grooves on the sprockets.
Tighten the camshaft sprocket set bolt while holding the camshaft by the hex area with a wrench.
6. After installing the secondary timing chain, before installing the drain tube, check and adjust the clearances in the valves (see section «Checking and adjusting valve clearances»).
7. Complete installation in the reverse order of removal.
