Basic checks
Checking the oil for automatic transmission
Check oil level and leaks.
Check the condition of the oil.

Check and adjust the range switch.
Checking line pressure
1. Check the engine oil level. Top up if necessary.
2. Warm up the oil in the automatic transmission to the operating temperature of 50-80°C after driving the car for about 10 minutes. Then check the oil level in the automatic transmission. Top up if necessary.
Note: At an ambient temperature of 20°C, after 10 minutes of driving in the urban driving cycle, the oil temperature in the automatic transmission rises to 50-80°C.
3. After warming up the automatic transmission, unscrew the plug of the inspection hole for checking the pressure and install a pressure gauge there (special tool ST2505 S001).
Attention:
Remove and install the inspection hole plug using special tool ST2548 0000.
Since glue is applied to the threads of the plug, do not reuse the removed plug.
4. Apply the parking brake fully and lock the wheels
5. Start the engine and measure the pressure in the line at idle speed and with the accelerator pedal fully depressed.
Attention:
- While measuring, press the brake pedal all the way down.
- When measuring pressure with the accelerator pedal fully depressed, see section "Check on a stationary vehicle".
