1. Check the "O/D OFF" indicator
1. Stop the car on a level surface.
2. Move the selector lever to position "P".
3. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position and wait at least 5 seconds.
4. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position (Do not start the engine).
Does the "O/D OFF" indicator (1) light for about 2 seconds?
Yes -
- 1. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
- 2. Perform self-diagnosis and identify faulty components.
- 3. Proceed to "Checking at idle speed".
No - Stop the road test.
