Description
The purpose of this test is to determine the general operating characteristics of the automatic transmission and to analyze the causes of malfunctions.
The road test consists of the following three parts:
- 1. Check before starting the engine.
- 2. Check at idle speed.
- 3. Testing in motion.
Check all components.
Before performing a road test, familiarize yourself with all procedures and components that need to be checked.
Test all components until signs of failure are found. Troubleshoot any components that fail the road test.
