2. Turn off the engine.
3. Drain the automatic transmission fluid through the drain hole and fill with fresh fluid. Always fill with as much fluid as was drained.
Attention:
- Do not reuse the drain plug gasket.
- Automatic transmission fluid: Nissan Genuine ATF Mafic D or equivalent. See chapter "General".

Filling capacity: approx. 7.7 l.
Drain plug: see section "Components".
4. Start the engine and let it run for 5 minutes at idle speed.
5. Check the fluid level and condition. See section "Checking automatic transmission fluid". If the liquid is still dirty, repeat steps 2-5.
