The difference in pressure between individual engine cylinders can be a maximum of 5.0 bar. If one or more cylinders have a pressure difference of more than 5.0 bar, this indicates a faulty valve, worn piston rings or cylinder running surfaces. If the wear limit is reached, the engine must be repaired or replaced.
When checking the compression, the engine oil temperature should be at least +30°C. The oil filter should be at hand temperature, warm up the engine if necessary. The engine temperature should not be too high, otherwise the threads in the cylinder head can be damaged when unscrewing the spark plugs.
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Remove the injectors.

3. Disconnect the fuel shut-off valve plug.
Caution! If the plug is not disconnected, fuel will leak out when the engine is cranked.
4. Check the compression pressure.

5. Install the injectors.
6. Insert the plug into the CO reduction valve.
