CAN bus (local area network of controllers) - is a serial communication channel for real-time operation. It is an on-board multiplex communication channel with high data transfer rate and error detection capability. There are many control units on the vehicle that use common information and exchange it with each other during operation (not independently)In the CAN communication system, the control units are connected by two communication lines (CAN H and CAN L), which allow data to be transmitted at high speed with shorter wiring lengths. All control units transmit and receive data, but selectively read only the required data.
