Removal
When removing wheel sensors, please note the following:
Attention:
- When removing the sensor, do not rotate it if possible. Do not pull the sensor wiring too hard.
- Before removing the front or rear wheel hub, remove the wheel sensor first to avoid damaging the sensor wiring.
Installation
Tighten the mounting bolts and nuts to the specified torque. When installing the wheel sensors, pay attention to the following:
Check for foreign particles in the sensor mounting hole, metal shavings on the ring surface. Remove any foreign particles found or replace the sensor.
When installing the front wheel sensors, press the rubber bushings into the strut bracket and body bracket until they are locked in place without twisting the sensor wiring. In addition, the wiring should not be twisted after installation. Lay the wiring with paint marks facing the outside of the vehicle.
When installing the rear wheel sensors, press the rubber bushings into the suspension arm bracket and secure the section of wiring with the mark on the side member without twisting the wiring. In addition, the wiring should not be twisted after installation.
