Removal
1. Raise the vehicle and remove the wheels.
2. Roll the jack under the trailing arm of the rear suspension beam and support it. Unscrew the bolts from the bottom of the shock absorber (left and right).
3. Place the jack under the wishbone.
4. Remove the jack. Remove the spring and the rubber spring seat.
Check after removal
Check the spring and rubber spring seat for deformation, cracks or damage. Replace faulty components if necessary.
Installation
For tightening torques, see section "Components". Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
When installing the spring, firmly insert the end of the spring so that it is flush with the rubber spring seat as shown in the illustration.
