Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve
With the engine running at x x rpm, disconnect the PCV valve from the valve cover. If the valve is working properly, you should hear a hissing sound when air passes through it, and you should feel a strong vacuum when you plug the valve inlet with your finger.

1. Check for leaks from hoses and couplings.
2. Disconnect all hoses and clean with compressed air. If the blockage in any hose cannot be cleared, replace it.
