2. Disconnect the plug connection of the engine cable harness. It connects the starting automatic and the fuel cut-off valve, the idle speed increase device, the accelerator pump, the mixture quality regulator, and the throttle position sensor.
3. To avoid damage to the plug, it must be disconnected in accordance with the following instructions.
4. First remove the rear latch as shown in the upper part of the illustration and push in the direction of the arrow. Using a small screwdriver, flip up the locking latch (3) and at the same time push the clamp in the direction of the arrow in the lower illustration. When disconnecting the plug, do not pull on the cables. Also, do not damage the seal on the bottom of the terminal.

5. Loosen the throttle actuator on the counter support by loosening the lock and adjusting nuts and disconnecting the end of the cable from the drive segment of the carburetor.
6. Remove the fuel and vacuum lines from the carburetor.
7. Loosen the four carburetor nuts on the intake manifold, remove the washers and remove the carburetor. Remove the gasket between the carburetor and the manifold and immediately place a clean rag on the intake opening to prevent foreign objects from entering the engine. Install the carburetor in the reverse order of removal. Use a new intake manifold flange gasket, but make sure both surfaces are clean before installing. Do not use sealant. After installing the carburetor, make the various adjustments described below.
