2. To turn away bolts of fastening in sequence, return to specified in drawing, and to remove a head of the block of cylinders.

Note. The figure shows the sequence of tightening the mounting bolts.
3. Remove the cylinder head gasket.
4. Install the cylinder head assembly on a special stand (KV113B0200 (Mot.1573 according to Renault catalog)).
5. Remove hydraulic pushers.
Note. Immerse the hydraulic tappets in an oil bath to prevent air from entering them.
6. Remove valve cotters (1), by compressing the valve spring with a special tool (A).
7. Remove the valve disc and valve spring.
8. Check the installation parameters of the oil seal before removing the valve and removing the cap:
Install stem (A) mandrels for pressing the oil seal (KV113B0180 (Mot.1511-01 according to Renault catalog)) on the oil cap.
Note. The inner diameter of the stem must be identical to the valve. In addition, the lower part of the stem must touch the methyl part of the upper section of the slinger cap.
Install guide tube (IN) through stem (A) so that it touches the cylinder head, and fix the rod with a knurled wheel. Remove the guide tube with stem assembly, being careful not to dislodge the knurled wheel.
9. Press the valve stem towards the combustion chamber and remove the valve.
Note. Mark the installation position of Sr for the correct assembly position.
10. Remove the oil seal (1) special puller (A) (KV113B0090 (Mot.1335)).
