- Turbocharger.
- Intake manifold.
- Exhaust manifold.
- Cooling system outlet and thermostat assembly.
- Front cover and drive chain.
- The upper part of the cylinder head.
2. Loosen the mounting bolts in the reverse order to that shown in the figure and remove the cylinder head.

Note: The illustration shows the tightening sequence of the mounting bolts.
3. Remove the cylinder head gasket.
4. Install the cylinder head assembly on a special stand (KV113B0200 (Mot.1573 according to Renault catalogue)).
5. Remove the hydraulic lifters.
Note: Immerse the hydraulic lifters in an oil bath to prevent air from entering them.
6. Remove the valve crackers (1) by compressing the valve spring with a special tool (A).

7. Remove the valve plate and valve spring.
8. Check the installation parameters of the oil deflector cap before removing the valve and removing the cap:
Install the rod (A) of the mandrel for pressing on the oil deflector cap (KV113B0180 (Mot.1511-01 according to Renault catalogue)) on the oil deflector cap.

Note: The inside diameter of the stem must be identical to the valve. In addition, the bottom of the stem must touch the metal part of the upper section of the valve stem seal.
Install the guide tube (B) over the piston rod (A) so that it touches the cylinder head and secure the piston rod with the knurled wheel. Remove the guide tube with the piston rod assembly, being careful not to displace the knurled wheel.

9. Push the valve stem towards the combustion chamber and remove the valve.
Note: Mark the installation position of Sr for correct placement during assembly.

10. Remove the oil deflector cap (1) using a special puller (A) (KV113B0090 (Mot.1335)).
