Note. Install larger valves on the intake side.
2. Install valve stem seal:
Place protection (A) mandrels for pressing the oil seal (KV113B0180 (Mot.1511-01 according to Renault catalog)) on the valve.
Do not lubricate the oil seal.
Remove protection.
Push in stem (A) oil seal mandrels (KV113B0180 (Mot. 1511-01 according to the Renault catalog)) hand force so that the guide tube (IN) touched the cylinder head.
3. Install the valve spring.
Note. The intake and exhaust valve springs are identical.
4. Install the valve spring plate.
5. Install crackers (1), by compressing the valve spring with a special tool (A).
Note. After installation, lightly tap the end of the valve with a plastic mallet to check for a secure fit.
6. Install the hydraulic pushers, after making sure that they are filled with oil.
7. Install the cylinder head gasket:
Apply sealant (A), as it shown on the picture.

Note. Use original sealant or equivalent.
Install gasket (1) cylinder head and apply sealant (A) but the points indicated in the figure.
8. Install the cylinder head and tighten the mounting bolts in the sequence shown in the figure:
Tighten all selts with a torque of 5.0 Nm.

Tighten all bolts to 30.0 Nm.
Tighten all bolts 300°clockwise (corner tightening).
Note. Corner tightening is carried out using a special corner wrench (A) (KV10112100). Don't do dotchiakku «approximately».
9. Install the remaining parts in the reverse order of disassembly.
