2. Tighten the cylinder head bolts in the sequence shown as follows:
A. Release side.
B. Inlet side.
Caution: If cylinder head bolts are reused, their outside diameter must be checked beforehand as described below.
Apply fresh engine oil to the threaded portion and mounting surfaces of the bolts.
Tighten all bolts to 66.7 Nm.
Loosen all bolts (0 Nm).
Note: At this stage, loosening the bolts occurs in the reverse order to that shown in the figure.
Tighten all bolts to 40.0 Nm.
Tighten all bolts 75° clockwise (with a corner wrench).
Note: Check and confirm the tightening angle using an angle wrench (KV10112100) (A) or a protractor. It is not recommended to draw the line "by eye".

Tighten all bolts again 75° clockwise (with a corner wrench).
3. Install the remaining parts in the reverse order of removal.
