2. Remove the valve lifters, having previously noted the position of their installation, and arrange them in order without mixing.
3. Compress the valve spring with a special tool (KV10116200) (A) and magnetized rod (IN) remove crackers. Repeat the procedure for the remaining valves.
Attention. Be careful not to damage the valve lifter seats.
4. Remove the valve plates and valve springs.
5. Push the valve stem towards the combustion chamber and remove the valve. Mark the installation position of the valves and arrange them in order without mixing.
6. Remove the oil seals using a special puller (KV1 01 07902) (A).
7. Remove valve spring seats.
8. If you plan to replace the valve seats, drill them out of the cylinder head. To do this, you need to use a depth gauge-limiter.
Attention. Do not drill out valve seats more than necessary.
9. Remove the valve guides if they are to be replaced:
To remove the valve guides, heat the cylinder head to a temperature of 110-130°C in an oil bath (A).
Press out the valve guide using a special mandrel and a press with a force of 20 kN (2t) or hammer.
Attention. The cylinder head is hot. Use protective measures to prevent burns.
