1. Relieve fuel pressure.
2. Remove the engine protection from the bottom.
3. Drain the coolant through the cylinder block and radiator drain holes.
4. Remove the following parts:
- front exhaust pipe
- air duct
- Upper and lower radiator hoses
- EGR valve and retainer
- Intake manifold and intake manifold adapter
- An exhaust manifold
- Upper generator bracket
- Thermostat and water pipes
- High Voltage Ignition Cables
- Valve lid
- Distributor, camshafts, rocker arms
- Rocker guides, shims
- Valve lifters
5. Remove the cylinder head assembly.
1) Loosen the auxiliary cylinder head bolts (4 things.).
Loosen the bolts in the reverse order shown in the figure.
2) Loosen the cylinder head bolts in the reverse order to that shown in the figure.
3) Remove the cylinder head bolt washers with a magnetic finger.
4) If lifting with a winch, attach lifting eyelets to the front left and rear right of the cylinder head.
5) Hook the hooks of the lifting chain block into the hinges and raise the cylinder head.
Attention:
Use the mounting bolts and lifting eyes from the original repair kit.
Don't forget to remove wiring, tubes, etc.
Note: If the cylinder head is not to be lifted, it is advisable to have 2 people do the work.
