2. Install the cylinder head and tighten the mounting bolts in the order shown in the figure:
The arrow points towards the front of the engine
Caution: If cylinder head bolts are reused, their outside diameter must be checked before installation.
Apply fresh engine oil to the threads and mounting surfaces of the mounting bolts.
Tighten all bolts to 40 Nm.
Tighten all bolts clockwise by 100° (corner tightening).
Note: Corner tightening should be done using a special corner brace (A) (KV10112100). Do not make adjustments "by eye".
Loosen all bolts completely.
Note: Loosen all bolts in the reverse order to that shown in the illustration.
Tighten all bolts to 40 Nm.
Tighten all bolts clockwise by 10° (corner tightening).
Tighten all bolts clockwise again by 100° (corner tightening).
3. Install the remaining parts in the reverse order of removal.
