2. Remove the valve lifters.
Note. It is necessary to arrange the pushers in the order of installation and take measures to prevent their entanglement.
3. Dry the valves:
Compress the valve spring with a special tool (A) (KV10116200).
Attention. Be careful not to damage the valve lifter seats.
4. Remove valve plates with valve springs (with spring seats).
Attention. Do not remove seats from valve springs.
5. Push the valve stem towards the combustion chamber and remove the valve.
Note. It is necessary to arrange the valves in the order of installation and take measures to prevent their entanglement.
6. Special puller (A) (KV10107902) remove valve stem seals.
7. If it is necessary to replace the valve seats:
Cut out the old valve seat until it no longer holds in place. When cutting out the seat, do not get close to the bottom plane of the socket in the cylinder head. Install a boring depth stop to prevent damage to the seat.
Attention. Be careful not to damage the seat by excessive boring depth.
8. If it is necessary to replace the valve guides:
To remove the guide bush, heat the cylinder head in an oil bath to a temperature of 110-130°C.
Using a special mandrel and a hammer, knock out the valve guide.
Attention. The surface of the cylinder head is hot. Protective gloves must be worn to avoid burns.
