2. Remove the valve lifters.
Note: It is necessary to arrange the tappets in the order of installation and take measures to prevent them from being mixed up.
3. Release the valves:
Compress the valve spring with a special tool (A) (KV10116200).
Caution: Be careful not to damage the valve lifter seats.
4. Remove the valve plates with valve springs (with spring saddles).
Caution: Do not remove the valve spring seats.
5. Push the valve stem towards the combustion chamber and remove the valve.
Note: It is necessary to arrange the valves in the order of installation and take measures to prevent them from being mixed up.
6. Special puller (A) (KV10107902) remove the valve oil seals.
7. If it is necessary to replace the valve seats:
Cut out the old valve seat until it no longer fits in the seat. When cutting out the seat, do not go too close to the bottom of the seat in the cylinder head. Install a depth stop to prevent damage to the seat.
Caution: Be careful not to damage the socket by boring too deep.
8. If it is necessary to replace the valve guide bushings:
To remove the guide bushing, heat the cylinder head in an oil bath to a temperature of 110-130°C.
Using a special mandrel and a hammer, knock out the valve guide bushing.
Caution: The cylinder head surface is hot. Wear protective gloves to avoid burns.
