Cylinder head bolt diameter
The cylinder head mounting bolts are tightened to the yield point. If the difference between the diameters "d1" and "d2" exceeds the permissible value, the bolt should be replaced with a new one.

Note: Maximum permissible difference ("d1" - "d2"): 0.15 mm.
If the thinning of the bolt occurs not at the point "d2" indicated in the figure, but at another point, then this point must be considered as "62".
Non-flatness of the cylinder head surface
Note: When checking the cylinder head for flatness, you must also check the cylinder block surface for flatness.
1. Using a scraper, remove oil, scale, gasket residue, seals and carbon deposits from the lower surface of the cylinder head.
Caution: Do not allow gasket residue to enter the cooling system jacket or oil channels.
2. Check the flatness of the lower surface of the cylinder head in six directions using a straight edge (A) and a set of flat feeler gauges (B).

If the measured value does not meet the specifications, replace the cylinder head with a new one.
