Attention:
Do not install various accessories near the sensors.
The sensor coverage area is shown in the figure. Before driving, be sure to check that there are no obstacles near the car.
Do not use sonars to measure distances to obstacles.
Note:
Sonar may not work in the following cases.
Ice, snow, dirt, etc. have stuck to the sensors.
You shielded the sensors with your hand.
When exposed to direct sunlight or at very low outside temperatures.
When driving on rough roads, sand, mountain roads, grass, etc.
When strong sound sources are approaching, such as when other vehicles horn, motorcycles approach, trucks brake, etc.
During heavy rain or when the vehicle is splashed with water.
If the car has a powerful radio transmitter.
If the voltage of the power supply has decreased.
Using sonars
Turn the ignition key to the ON position and press the SONAR button on the ON side (the indicator on the button will light up and a sound signal will be heard indicating that the sonars are turned on).
The sonars work if the automatic transmission selector lever is in positions N, D, 2, 1, L, R and the speed is less than 10 km/h.
The rear center sonar works when the automatic transmission selector lever is in position R.
If obstacles are detected, the indicator starts flashing and the buzzer sounds at the same time.
Angle sonars
The tone of the corner sonar signal is lower than the tone of the rear sonar signal.
Rear center sonar
If any indicator flashes and a continuous beep sounds when the sonars are turned on, it can be assumed that the sensitive area of the sensor is dirty.
