Adjusting idle speed (training air supply at idle speed) (Nissan Serena C24)

This procedure should be performed after replacing the AAC valve, throttle chamber or ECCS control unit, and also if the idle speed differs from the norm or after adjusting the ignition timing.

Training procedure

Turn the ignition key to the ON position for 1 second or more, then turn it to the OFF position and wait at least 10 seconds.

Start and warm up the engine (coolant temperature approx. 70°C).

Make sure that all loads are disconnected from the engine: air conditioning, power steering pump and various electrical consumers. Move the selector lever to position N or R.

Disconnect the connector (brown color) from the throttle sensor.

Wait about 3 seconds and reconnect the connector.



After completing the specified actions, training for air supply at idle speed begins.

Note: The learning procedure takes approximately 20 seconds. Do not turn the ignition key to the OFF position during this time.

Make sure the ignition timing is within normal limits.

If this is not the case, repeat the training procedure.
