Caution! When working, do not allow brake fluid to come into contact with your eyes. Avoid liquid contact with painted surfaces, store the liquid in a hermetically sealed container.
1. The brake master cylinder and its reservoir are mounted on the vacuum booster inside the engine compartment. There are marks on the supply reservoir of the brake master cylinder between which the fluid level should be.
2. If you need to top up the fluid, wipe and unscrew the reservoir cap. Only top up the brake master cylinder reservoir with the recommended brand of fluid; mixing fluids of different brands is not allowed, as the brakes may fail.
3. When adding fluid, you should check for contamination of the fluid in the tank. If there is a sediment of dirt or large particles, the fluid should be drained and replaced.
4. After restoring the level, tighten the tank cap tightly.
5. A slow decrease in the fluid level is possible due to wear of the brake linings. If frequent addition of brake fluid is required, there is a leak in the hydraulic drive of the system, which should be immediately repaired.
