Parking brake drive components

1. Remove the console between the seats (see Chapter Body).
2. Disconnect the parking brake sensor connector.
3. Loosen the adjusting nut and disconnect the front and rear cables.
4. Loosen the parking brake lever assembly mounting nuts.
5. Remove the brake pads (see section Removal and installation of the rear brake assembly) and disconnect the cable from the drive lever.
6. Remove the center section of the exhaust pipe and the heat shield.
7. Loosen the cable bracket fasteners and remove the brackets.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Finally, adjust the parking brake.
