Vacuum Booster Mounting Components
1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum booster.
2. Remove the GTZ (see section Removal and installation of the brake master cylinder).
3. Remove the cotter pin and the brake pedal pivot pin (see section Removal and installation the brake pedal).
4. Remove the brake booster and brake pedal assembly mounting nuts.
5. Remove the clutch master cylinder from the panel, pull it out from the engine compartment and position it out of the way.
6. While holding the bracket, remove the low pressure hose from the A/C system.
7. Remove the windshield fairing (see Chapter Body) and a vacuum booster.
8. Check the dimension (B) of the vacuum booster piston rod protrusion and compare it with the requirements Specifications. Replace or repair the vacuum booster if necessary.
9. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
