Removal
1. Remove the air duct (inlet).
2. Remove the air cleaner filter element from the air cleaner housing. See section "Replacing the air cleaner filter element".
3. Remove the air duct [between the air duct (inlet) and the air cleaner body] from the air cleaner body.
4. Disconnect the PCV hose.
5. Disconnect the air duct (between the air cleaner housing and the electric throttle actuator).
If necessary, apply marks to facilitate subsequent installation.
6. Remove the air cleaner housing as follows:
- a. Remove the battery.
- b. Disconnect the connector from the mass air flow sensor.
- c. Remove the air cleaner housing.
7. If necessary, remove the air mass flow sensor from the air cleaner housing.
Caution: Handle the sensor with care. Avoid impact. Do not touch the sensitive element.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:

- Align the marks.
- Connect the joints.
- Tighten the clamps securely.
