Removal
1. Press the latches (A) on both sides of the air cleaner cover (1) inward (B).
2. Pull the air cleaner cover forward (C) and remove it (see fig.).
3. Remove the filter element (1) and holder (2) as an assembly from the air cleaner housing (see fig.).
4. Remove the filter element from the holder.
Clean the air cleaner filter element or replace it at the recommended intervals, or more often if the vehicle is operated in dusty conditions. See Chapter General information and maintenance.

Blow compressed air through the air cleaner filter element from the back until all dirt is removed.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following: Install the air cleaner cover (1) in the direction shown in the figure.
