Periodic maintenance after the last interval indicated in the tables is carried out in the same way.
Engine and emission control system maintenance (CR engine) (Annual mileage less than 30,000 km)
Note: Inspection of components marked with an asterisk (*), should be performed more frequently in accordance with section «Heavy duty service»
(1) Periodic maintenance is not required. However, if valve knocking increases, check valve clearances.
(2) Replace drive belts if damage is found.
(3) Initially replace after 100,000 km. mileage / 60 months, then every 60,000 km / 36 months. Carry out the procedure «P» (checking the ratio of the components of the mixture and, if necessary, adjusting it) in the middle of the replacement interval.
(4) The fuel filter is a maintenance free type. For maintenance procedures, see chapter Accelerator, fuel system and exhaust system.
(5) Carry out only in accordance with the section «Heavy duty service» on models without Euro-OBD system. Models with Euro-OBD do not require periodic maintenance.
Chassis and body maintenance (CR engine) (Annual mileage less than 30,000 km)
Note: Inspection of components marked with an asterisk (*), should be performed more frequently in accordance with section «Heavy duty service».
(1) Check once a year
Engine and emission control system maintenance (HR engine) (Annual mileage less than 30,000 km)
Abbreviations:
- P = check and correct or replace as appropriate;
- 3 = replace;
- [] = Mileage only.
Note: Inspection of components marked with an asterisk (*), should be performed more frequently in accordance with section «Heavy duty service»
(1) Periodic maintenance is not required. However, if valve knocking increases, check valve clearances.
(2) Replace drive belts if damage is found.
(3) Replace at 90,000 km/60 months initially, then every 60,000 km/40 months. Carry out the procedure «P» (checking the ratio of the components of the mixture and, if necessary, adjusting it) in the middle of the replacement interval.

Heavy duty service (Annual mileage less than 30,000 km)
The service intervals above are recommended for normal operating conditions. If you drive your vehicle primarily under the severe operating conditions listed below, the following components will need to be serviced more frequently.
Severe operating conditions:
- A - Movement in dusty conditions
- B - Multiple short trips
- B - Towing a trailer or van
- G - Continuous idling
- D - Driving in adverse weather conditions or in areas where the ambient temperature is extremely low or high
- E - Driving in areas with high humidity or in the mountains
- G - Driving on roads covered with salt or other corrosive materials
- 3 - Driving on rough terrain and / or on muddy roads or in the desert
- I - Driving with frequent braking or in mountainous areas
