Disassembly
1. With circlip pliers (suitable special tool) remove the sensor ring.
2. Remove the retaining ring.
3. Press out the wheel bearing with a punch (special tool) and remove.
Check after disassembly
Check trailing arm for deformation, cracks or other damage, replace if necessary.
Check circlip for wear or cracks, replace if necessary.
Assembly
1. Drive in the wheel bearing with a punch (special tool).
Caution: Do not apply pressure or load to the wheel bearing inner race and sealing area.
Note: Final pressing force must be 50,000 N (5100 kg)
2. Install the retaining ring.
3. Press in the sensor ring using a drift (special tool).
Post build check
1. After installing the brake drum on the axle shaft, tighten the lock nut to the required torque.
Tightening torque: 175 Nm (18 kg m).
2. Rotate the wheel hub 10 times in both directions and check that it rotates freely.
3. Hook the dynamometer on the hub bolt, pull at 10±2 rpm and measure the turning moment.
Turning torque: 0.20-0.95 Nm (0.02-0.09 kg m)
Dynamometer reading: 4-19 N (0.41-1.94 kg)
