WARNINGS:
- During pumping, constantly monitor the level of fluid in the tank.
- If air is suspected to have entered the master cylinder, bleed the air from the master cylinder first (see section «Master brake cylinder», «Installation»).**
- For models with ABS, turn off the ignition and disconnect the actuator connector or negative battery cable.
Air is removed in the following order:
Right hand drive models
Left rear brake → right front → right rear → left front.
Spruce steering models
Right rear brake → left front → left rear → right rear.
1. Place a clear vinyl tube over the bleeder valve and dip it into a container of clean brake fluid.
2. Fully depress the brake pedal several times.
3. Keeping the pedal depressed, unscrew the valve and release the air.
4. Close the valve.
5. Slowly release the brake pedal.
6. Repeat steps 2-5 until air-free brake fluid comes out of the valve.
7. Tighten the air release valve.
- Tightening torque - 7-9 Nm
